This Privacy Policy Document informs how Career Vidyaa (“Career Vidyaa” or “we” or “us”) collect, use and share information about our users (“you”) through our Platform. Please review our Terms of Use and Privacy Policy (collectively the “Terms”) that govern the use of the Platform and Programs. This Privacy Policy shall form a part of the Terms by way of reference. All capitalized terms not defined in this Privacy Policy, have the respective meanings set forth in the Terms of Use. This Privacy Policy applies only to the part of the Platform provided by Career Vidyaa, and we are not responsible for the practices, policies of persons, companies, institutions or websites that Career Vidyaa does not control, manage, or employ.

Please understand that by using our Platform or submitting any Personally Identifiable Information (defined below) to us, you consent and agree that we may collect, use, disclose and retain your information (including but not limited to your Personally Identifiable Information) in accordance with this Privacy Policy and our Terms of Use, and as permitted or required by law. Career Vidyaa reserves the right to collect and share the information hereunder with its own affiliates. If you agree with these Terms, then only provide any Personally Identifiable Information to us. if you choose not to provide required Personally Identifiable Information, we may not be able to provide you with the services that can be offered on our Platform.

1. INFORMATION COVERED UNDER THIS PRIVACY POLICY

Some of our Platform’s functionality may be used without revealing any personal information, though for features or services related to the Programs, personal information is required. If you do not use these specific features or services on the Platform, then the only information we collect will be “Non-Personal Information” (i.e., information that cannot be used to identify you). Career Vidyaa may also collect information from you or about your performance or accomplishments.

2.3 THIRD PARTY SERVICE PROVIDERS

We may receive Personally Identifiable Information when you access or log-in to a third-party site, e.g., Facebook, Instagram, WhatsApp, LinkedIn or any those kinds from our Platforms. This may include the text and/or images of your Personally Identifiable Information available from the third-party site. Please be aware that the information we obtain from such third-party Platforms is often dependent on their privacy policies and/or on your settings regarding what information you have consented to share with them.

We enter into contracts with third parties to serve ads on our behalf across the Internet and sometimes on this Platform. They may collect information about your visits to our Platform, and your interaction with our products and services. They may also use information about your visits to this Platform and to other websites so as to target advertisements for goods and services with relevant technology. We have no control If such third parties sell or share the personally identifiable information as part of the process and Career Vidyaa shall not be responsible for those kinds of activities.

We may use the Personally Identifiable Information that you provide to respond to your questions, provide you the specific Program related information and/or services you select, send you updates about the Programs or events, and send you email messages updates, among other things.

We use the Personally Identifiable Information that we collect from you when you participate in a Program for managing and processing purposes. Information shared with our Educational Partners will be subject to the privacy policies and procedures of such partners.

We may use your Personally Identifiable Information in order to provide such services to you and for quality control purposes, For example, We may make available to you chat services that allow you to communicate with our employees or associates and we may use your Personally Identifiable Information to provide these services to you. Moreover, in certain circumstances, we may share certain Personally Identifiable Information and materials with third parties including but not limited to potential employers and/ or service providers such as Facebook, LinkedIn etc in order to provide you services that you have requested. For example, our staff members may create groups on Facebook, LinkedIn (or similar service providers) and make you a member of such a group. These groups may be used to provide services including but not limited to updates in relation to the Programs and other details etc. Please be aware that the information disclosed on a third-party service provider will be dependent on their privacy policies. Career Vidyaa and/or its associates shall have no liability in this regard whatsoever.

Career Vidyaa may use certain companies that enable you to establish a membership to participate in digital wallets, payment services or rewards programs. If you choose to do so, we will disclose to such companies your information necessary to make their programs work and support your membership with them. We are not responsible for the privacy practices of the companies we suggest you review their privacy policies.

To the extent any Personally Identifiable Information collected by us contains images of you, you grant Career Vidyaa a limited, non-exclusive right to use, reproduce, distribute, or publicly display such images and/or your likeness.

Career Vidyaa may share your Personally Identifiable Information with various government authorities in response to court orders, or other legal process; to establish or exercise our legal rights or to protect our property; to defend against legal claims; or as otherwise required by law. In such cases we reserve the right to raise or waive any legal objection or right available to us. We also may share your Personally Identifiable Information when we believe it is appropriate to investigate, prevent, or take action regarding illegal or suspected illegal activities; to protect and defend the rights, property, or safety of our firm, the Platform, our users, customers, or others in line with our terms & conditions

Any Personally Identifiable Information voluntarily displayed by you on the Platform may be used by third parties for unsolicited purposes. Please note that Career Vidyaa shall not be liable for such unsolicited use by third parties which has been voluntarily displayed by you.

6. PROTECTION OF INFORMATION

6.1 CONFIDENTIALITY AND SECURITY

Career Vidyaa takes all reasonable precautions to protect your Personally Identifiable Information both online and offline, in order to avoid unauthorized breach. In addition, we participate in cooperative database services. These services help us to direct newsletters, mailings and other marketing initiatives to appropriate purchasers and website visitors. Names and mailing addresses may be shared between participating parties in the cooperative database services.

6.2 NOTIFICATION OF CHANGES

We may update this Privacy Policy at any time, and it will be posted on this Platform as and when it is so updated, so that you are always aware of what information we collect, how we use it, and the circumstances under which we may disclose it.

6.3 YOUR EMAIL ADDRESS & MOBILE NUMBER

We may store the email addresses/mobile numbers of those who communicate with us via email/mobile and add them to our mailing/SMS list when you sign up to receive information on the activities we do. By choosing to receive emails/SMS/calls from us, we would be able to send you exclusive information and other related things, which you may otherwise not learn about from our Platform. If you are a registered user and wish to change your preferences, or if you prefer to opt out by regular mail/SMS/calls, you may mail to Info@rebridge.in, / info@careervidyaa.com to notify us of your request.

Once you have submitted your e-mail opt-out request you may assume that it has been successfully received and your request is being processed. We may need appropriate time from when the request was received to complete the removal, as some of our promotions may already have been in process before you submitted your request.

Our Platform may contain links to other sites. The linked sites are not under the control of Career Vidyaa. Please be aware that Career Vidyaa is not responsible for the privacy practices of such other sites.

7. CHILDREN AND MINOR’S PRIVACY

Career Vidyaa strongly encourages parents and guardians to supervise the online activities of their minor children and consider using parental control tools available from online services and software manufacturers to help provide a child-friendly online environment.

TERMS OF USE

Introduction

The website careervidyaa.com and the information, services and other materials contained therein are provided and operated by ReBridge Education a registered firm (referred as “RE” “we”, “us”) For all purpose consider careervidyaa.com as part of ReBridge Education shares /offers curated and specially designed higher education and industry relevant PG, degree, diploma, certification and other programs through online or distance mode (“Programs”). Please review our Terms of Use, Privacy Policy and other policies available on the Platform (collectively the “Terms”) that govern the use of the Platform and Programs

Please note that the use of the Platform and Programs constitutes an unconditional agreement to follow and be bound by the Terms. Although you may “bookmark” a particular portion of the Platform and thereby bypass these Terms, your use of the Platform still binds you to these Terms.

Career Vidyaa part of RE makes no representations that the Platform operates (or are legally permitted to operate) in all geographic areas, or that the Platform, or information, services or products offered through the Platform are appropriate or available for use in other locations. Accessing the Platform from territories where the Platform, or any content or functionality of the Platform or portions thereof is illegal, is expressly prohibited. If you choose to access the Platform, you agree and acknowledge that you do so on your own initiative and at your own risk and that you are solely responsible for compliance with all applicable laws.

User Conduct Policy

Whether you have enrolled for a Program or simply browsing the Platform, once you have accessed the Platform or Programs, you shall be considered a ‘user’ for the purpose of these Terms. You are responsible for all your activities in connection with the use of the Platform and Programs. You hereby agree to fully comply with all applicable local, provincial, state, national and foreign laws, treaties and regulations in connection with such use. You shall not resort to any unethical practices while using the Platform.

Without limitation, you will not post or transmit, or cause to be posted or transmitted, any communication or solicitation or other “phishing”, “pharming” or “whaling” message designed or intended to obtain password, account, personal information, confidential information or private information from any user of the Platform or any other third party whatsoever. However, if any such event does take place, Career Vidyaa part of RE shall not be liable for any loss in data or if the user’s device, computer or any other property is compromised in any manner. You acknowledge and agree that Career Vidyaa part of RE has the right to report any and all suspicious or illegal activity to the appropriate legal or police authorities without notice to you.

Educational Partners & Accreditation

Career Vidyaa part of ReBridge Education is not an education service provider or an institute or university, we are partners associated with respective institutes or universities to provide information and in no way responsible for any kind of program offerings, structure and methodology. Admission to the degree/diploma or any type of programs is at sole discretion of Educational Partner. Awarding certificate after course completion is at the sole discretion of the educational partners and Career Vidyaa part of RE has no role and no way accountable for that.

You acknowledge and agree that any Program affiliated with an Educational Partner may be subject to terms, policies and procedures of the applicable Educational Partner. Without limiting the foregoing, if you are a student registered or enrolled at, or are otherwise attending an Educational Partner and are taking a Program, you acknowledge and agree that the Educational Partner may have its own terms, policies or procedures regarding your eligibility to participate in the Program.

Career Vidyaa part of RE Intellectual Property Rights

“Content” means any / all information and data which may include but not be limited to text, software, scripts, graphics, maps, photos, sounds, music, videos, logos, offers, advertisements, interactive features and other materials.

Career Vidyaa part of RE logos, trademarks and service marks which may appear on the Platform and in the Program are the property of Career Vidyaa part of RE and are protected under Indian and foreign laws. All other trademarks, service marks and logos used on the Platforms, Online Courses or Programs, with or without attribution, are the trademarks, service marks or logos of their respective owners. In addition, elements of the Platforms are protected by trade dress and other Indian and international intellectual property laws and may not be copied, reproduced, downloaded or distributed in any way in whole or in part without the express written consent of Career Vidyaa part of RE.

Please verify all Content prior to use. In the event you come across any Content which is incorrect, infringing, offensive, indecent or objectionable, please notify us immediately at address mentioned at the bottom of this page.

Third Party Intellectual Property

Career Vidyaa part of RE respects third party intellectual property rights and actively supports protection of all third-party intellectual property including copyrights and trademarks (“IP”). It is our policy to expeditiously respond to clear notices of alleged IP infringement. If we receive proper notification of IP infringement, our response to such notices will include removing or disabling access to material claimed to be the subject of infringing activity.

Career Vidyaa part of RE shall not be held liable for the unauthorized use of any third-party IP, and the user that carries out such unauthorized use, or infringes any IP available on the Platform shall fully indemnify and hold Career Vidyaa part of RE harmless against any and all claims that may arise as a result of such use.

If you believe that your product or other work has been misrepresented or used in a way that constitutes copyright infringement, or your intellectual property rights have been otherwise violated, please provide us with the following information:

With respect to any User Content, you submit via the Platform or Programs or that is otherwise made available to Career Vidyaa part of RE, you hereby grant an irrevocable, worldwide, perpetual, royalty-free and non-exclusive license to use, distribute, reproduce, modify, adapt, publicly perform and publicly display such User Content. Career Vidyaa part of RE reserves the right to remove any User Content at any time and for any reason.

Career Vidyaa part of RE does not control the User Content posted through the Platform, including any messages, reviews or comments, and does not guarantee the accuracy, integrity or quality of such User Content. Under no circumstances we would be liable in any way for any User Content, including any errors or omissions, or any loss or damage or defamation of any kind incurred as a result of your posting or use of any User Content. You are responsible for complying with all laws applicable to the User Content.

You are prohibited from posting the following Content on the Platform:

Content that is fraudulent, indecent, or libellous or defames, harasses, discriminates against, harms or threatens others;

Content that discusses illegal activities, with the intent to commit them;

Content that infringes or misappropriates patent, trademark, trade secret, right of publicity, or other intellectual property rights of third parties;

Content that you do not have the right to disclose;

Profane, pornographic, obscene, indecent or unlawful Content;

Advertising or any form of commercial solicitation;

Content related to partisan political activities;

Content that contains intentionally inaccurate information or that is posted with the intent of misleading others;

viruses, Trojan horses, worms, time bombs, cancelbots, or other disabling devices or other harmful components intended to or that may damage, detrimentally interfere with, surreptitiously intercept, or expropriate any system, data, or personal information;

Platform Security

You are prohibited from violating or attempting to violate the security of the Platform or any other associate Platform of Career Vidyaa part of RE including, without limitation, (a) accessing data not intended for such user or logging onto a server or an account which the user is not authorized to access; (b) attempting to probe, scan or test the vulnerability of a system or network or to breach security or authentication measures without proper authorization; © attempting to interfere with service to any user, host or network, including, without limitation, via means of submitting a virus to the Platform, overloading, “flooding,” “spamming,” “mailbombing” or “crashing;” (d) sending unsolicited email, including promotions and/or advertising of products or services; or (e) forging any TCP/IP packet header or any part of the header information in any email or newsgroup posting. Violations of system or network security may result in civil or criminal liability. We will investigate occurrences that may involve such violations and may involve, and cooperate with, law enforcement authorities in prosecuting users who are involved in such violations. Career Vidyaa part of RE makes no representations or warranties of any kind, whether express or implied, with respect to Content or services available on or through this Platform and Programs, including, but not limited to, the implied warranties of merchantability, fitness for a particular purpose, and non-infringement. We makes no warranty that the services will meet the user’s requirements or that the services will be uninterrupted, timely, secure, or error free; The user understands and agrees that the content and all other information, data, or other material downloaded or otherwise obtained through or from the Platform or Programs is obtained at the user’s own discretion and risk, and that the user will be solely responsible for any damage to the user, the user’s computer system, electronic device or any loss of data that results from the download of such material or data.

Limitation of Liability

Neither Career Vidyaa part of RE nor any of its Educational Partners, affiliates, employees, directors, officers, agents, vendors or supplier shall be liable to you or any other person, whether in Tort, Contract, Strict Liability or otherwise, for any indirect, special, incidental or consequential losses or damages of any nature arising out of or in connection with the use or inability to use this Platform or Programs, including, without limitation, damages for lost profits, loss of goodwill, loss of data, work stoppage, accuracy of search results, or computer / electronic device failure, virus or malfunction.

Agents here could be counsellors, Tele callers, advisors, executives, Relationship managers, administrators or any of those designated by the organization from time to time.

The Platform may contain links to pages on other websites (“Linked Sites”), and those Linked Sites may contain Content or offer products and/or services for sale. Career Vidyaa part of RE does not author, edit, control, or monitor these Linked Sites. You acknowledge and agree that (a) we have no responsibility for the accuracy or availability of information provided by Linked Sites, (b) we do not control or endorse the sponsors of such Linked Sites or the content, products, advertising, or other materials presented on such Linked Sites. and © you agree to the terms and conditions of the Linked Sites We may remove any Linked Sites from the Platform at any time with or without reason.

Career Vidyaa part of RE will not be liable for any kind of transactions conducted by you or on behalf of you with 3rd parties through the linked sites or for any kind of liability arising from the representations or information provided on such linked sites.

We appreciate that Linked Sites may contain material in which the operator of the Linked Sites has intellectual property rights. We respect those rights and provide the links for information purposes only. The fact that we have linked to any Linked Site does not create or imply any relationship or partnership with the operator of such Linked Site.

Indemnity

You agree to indemnify and hold Career Vidyaa part of RE and its Educational Partners harmless from any and all claims, liabilities, damages, losses and expenses of any kind relating to or arising out of (a) your use or attempted use of the Platforms or Programs in violation of the Terms; (b) your violation of any law or rights of any third party; or © information or Content that you or others post or otherwise make available on the Platform or through any Program, including without limitation any claim of infringement or misappropriation of intellectual property or other proprietary rights.

Miscellaneous Provisions

By accepting the Terms through your use of the Platform, you certify that you are 18 years of age or older. If you are under the age of 18 or under the legal age in your jurisdiction to enter into a binding contract you may use the Platform only under the supervision of a parent or legal guardian who agrees to be bound by the Terms. If you are a parent or legal guardian agreeing to the Terms for the benefit of a child below 18, be advised that you are fully responsible for his or her use of the Platform, including all financial charges and legal liability that he or she may incur. By using the Platform, you represent and warrant that you have the right, authority, and capacity to enter into the Terms and to abide by all of the terms and conditions set forth herein. The Programs are not for the use of individuals under the age of 18 years.

Career Vidyaa part of RE may freely transfer or assign any portion of its rights or delegate its obligations under these Terms or any Program specific terms. You shall not transfer or assign, by operation of law or otherwise, any portion of your rights or delegate your obligations under these Terms or any Program specific terms without the prior written consent of Career Vidyaa part of RE.
